Philippe Rolland

Philippe Rolland has over twenty years of expertise in Tax Law, and is specialized in all aspects of corporate and individual taxation, with particular emphasis on the broadcasting sector, and on property and investment structure taxation. After graduating from the Ecole Nationale des Impôts (State’s National Tax School), Philippe started his career in the French Ministry of Finance (Direction Générale des Impôts) as an auditor specialising in SMEs in the Paris region. He then joined the civil service, in the Tax Audit Sub-Directorate, where he was responsible for conducting audits of major companies, and was in charge of “sensitive” affairs. His career as a tax lawyer started when he joined the tax firm Bontoux & Associés, before moving to Serra, to Michaud and then to Sokolow, Dunaud, Mercadier & Carreras. He then founded Rolland, Berger & Associés in April 2005, and finally joined HPML in 2012 as Head of its Tax Team. Philippe’s working languages are English and French.
