Nicolas Privat

Nicolas Privat has been working as a tax attorney for companies and individuals since 2010. He advises national and International small and mid-cap companies, as well as shareholders and managers of these companies. He provides them with a day-to-day assistance on every tax issue they may have to face and more generally on their tax strategy. He joined the firm following the merger between HPML and Mermoz in July 2022. He usually assists his clients during tax investigations (tax audits), litigations, and advises them on their specific operations (restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, partial contribution of assets, external growth, etc…). Nicolas actively provides his support to the transaction legal teams on their M&A and Private equity deals (buy-side and sell-side tax dues diligences, tax structuring, and post acquisitions tax assistance). After launching his career in the international tax department of EY in Paris and New York, Nicolas joined HPML where he was appointed a partner in May 2019.
